How can you Help

By Gift Aid-If you pay UK income tax you can contribute in a particularly effective way by signing a Gift Aid form, and the RFAA can then recover the tax you have already paid on the subscriptions or money you give. Many Members have done this, and a certificate is enclosed in this booklet if you have not already signed one.

By Donation: If you wish to make a one off donation, please send your cheque straight to the RFA Association. PO Box 52, Barnard Castle DL12 2BA. You can restrict your donation to a specific purpose (e.g the James Coull Memorial Award) by giving your wishes in writing at the time of giving.

By Legacy: Legacies are a very important source of income for the RFAA. If you would like to remember the RFA Association in your Will you can do so by including the following words, depending on whether you wish to make a specific legacy, or leave the residue of your estate to the RFAA:

Specific Legacy: "I give and bequeath to the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Association (Registered Charity No 1093950) the sum of £....... free of all duty, such sum to be applied to the general purposes of the said Charity".

Residuary Legacy. "I give, devise and bequeath all (or a specified share, e.g. half) the residue of my estate absolutely to the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Association (Registered Charity No 1093950), such residue to be applied to the general purposes of the said charity".
